Hi! :wavey: I came across this site last night while searching for info on feline URI's and thought it looked like a fun forum. My name is Danielle and I have 15 kitties at the moment (2 are foster babies) and 13 dogs.
My boyfriend and I live on a farm in Iowa in a great big huge farmhouse with 9 bedrooms. We are actually building a new house next spring and will be building it to fit our needs for a multipet household!
All my kitties are rescues, and a few of them started out as orphans that I bottle fed...it is so hard for me to let go of my bottle fed babies. :) All my babies are spayed/neutered except for the kittens.
I used to work for an animal shelter, but I quit in September, due to issues I had with the President of the Board. I am still a very active volunteer and have considered going back to work there. I still do a lot of stuff for them like writing the newsletter, maintaining the website, and following up on spay/neuter contracts, but I just don't get paid for it.
Anyway, I am glad to be here and hope to meet other wonderful people that love their cats!
