Yes for quite awhile. I was on the phone with the server host for a long time as they tried to figure out why the server was slagging.

Thanks for your patience with this. I got all your emails and thank those for alerting me-

Yikes, does that mean we will be down for briefs periods on and off until it is all done? How does this work?

Maybe TCS is getting too popular? I haven't noticed any problems for over a week now. I was having trouble with the cursor "freezing"; after I blocked the advertisements the trouble stopped, but that was probably just a coincidence. I use a notebook, and have a lot of peripheral devices. My nephew and his friend fooled around with the USB ports around the same time, so maybe they solved the problem. One thing I've been wanting to ask - I'm keeping attachments to a minimum, and use remote links, but wouldn't it help to suggest that members delete those links, excepting signatures, and perhaps "fur pictures", after two or three weeks?

We are going to try something else first. I am sure once it is set in stone, Anne will let you know what is going on. We are trying to resolve this with no down time if possible.

I know that whatever decision y'all make it will be the best.

I hope that the things y'all are working on help.

Wow....new server eh? My site is on Powweb and I've only experienced 1 downtime and they gave me 6 months for free because of it.
