View Full Version : The Cat Came Back The Very Next Day..... Fluffy'sMom 17th May 2004, 03:48 PM Fluffy is home!! Turns out he was never gone :rolleyes2 I opened our spare room this morning (which we searched like crazy last night!) and he came waltzing out. Anyhow he's back!:) Kumbulu 17th May 2004, 03:49 PM What did I tell you? I thought he'd be inside somewhere LOL. So glad you found him (or he found you). :) Hell603 17th May 2004, 04:16 PM Sooo glad Fluffy is back. Now, Fluffy you bad boy scaring Mom like that!!! Rosiemac 17th May 2004, 04:17 PM    Thank goodness for that. It's easy done, the times i've locked Rosie in cupboards by accident because she was nosing around  squirtle 17th May 2004, 04:20 PM That is very good news, I was worried.   They hide in some crazy places. Last night my b/f and I spent anhour hunting for Dori. We knew she was inside the apartment somewhere because we hadn't gone out. We found her up inside of the couch, the last seat on out sofa is a recliner and she somehow went underneath and crawled up inside the furniture. I don't really know how she got in because we had a heck of a time getting her out! Cilla 17th May 2004, 04:31 PM Glad she's OK  jeeperscat 17th May 2004, 05:07 PM      YAY!!!!     :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: I'm so glad Fluffy is okay :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: What a relief! :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: cazx01 17th May 2004, 05:15 PM     so glad fluffy is ok Spotz 17th May 2004, 05:41 PM Yay!! Spotz jcat 17th May 2004, 06:36 PM Glad you found her - they find some really strange places to hide. When we first brought Jamie home, he was playing beside the TV, and suddenly disappeared. We searched the entire house for over an hour, and even turned our furniture upside down. He then emerged from between the radiator and the wall! Felicia's Mom 17th May 2004, 07:30 PM I'm glad Fluffy is okay. I was going to ask if you had already looked every place. hissy 17th May 2004, 07:32 PM Now I get to say "Told ya so!" They really can hide effectively especially when they are scared. GrayKittenLove 17th May 2004, 08:19 PM Yes they can hide in the strangest places. Makes a person frantic when they can't find their furball though doesn't it. Glad to know Fluffy is back.  Bad Fluffy for hiding from Mommy. Pamela 17th May 2004, 08:56 PM LOL!! GLAD to hear that Fluffy IS HOME and SAFE!! :lol3: I SWEAR.. These cats must spend some time plotting ways   to turn our hair gray with fright and worry!! :lol3: Once, it took me ALL DAY to find Zebra and I was hysterical with crying by the time I found her. Know where I FOUND HER??? :onfire: up in the ceiling!! LONG story but I got her out and made sure she can't get back in there again by closing it up real good OR SO I THOUGHT! She managed to get in there AND Pepper was influenced so the 2nd time, TWO cats were missing and I was a NERVOUS WRECK!! AFTER that, I really made sure no cats, mice or bugs could get into the ceiling!! :lol3: SO I KNOW what u went through. crescendo 17th May 2004, 10:37 PM I'm glad she came back! The topic reminds me of my childhood days. :music: "The cat came back, the very next day. The cat came back they thought he was a goner but the cat came abck, he jsut wouldn't stay away." :music: caprice 17th May 2004, 10:52 PM Oh that's great! I missed this thread and went straight for the one where you lost him...now I feel much better!! HAHA! Glad he didn't get too lost! :) rapunzel47 17th May 2004, 11:23 PM So glad he's back safe and sound...Fluffy, that's a naughty boy to give Mum such a scare...you better give her lotsa lovin' to make up, now. They find the darnedest places, don't they? Fluffy'sMom 18th May 2004, 02:45 AM I'm glad she came back! The topic reminds me of my childhood days. :music: "The cat came back, the very next day. The cat came back they thought he was a goner but the cat came abck, he jsut wouldn't stay away." :music: I know thats the song i was thinking of when i posted it, :lol2: DawnofSierra 18th May 2004, 03:04 AM  Hurray! Fluffy's home! :jump: What a relief! :bigthumb: One night when I was moving alot of stuff into the house, Sierra completely dissappeared. Naturally , I thought she must have slipped by me, and was horrified because she is strictly indoors only! I grabbed a flashlight and searched all over the neighborhood, calling her name at the top of my lungs while shaking her food in a terror-ridden panic. When I came back inside to try to find a larger flashlight, there she was just looking at me like "What?'. I believe she really got a laugh out of that, but I couldn't love on her enough! :lol3: Felicia's Mom 18th May 2004, 03:39 AM Once I couldn't find Beau, I knew he was in the apartment. He turned out to be sitting on the living room floor. I was sure he was behind some furniture. I know I stepped over him several times. DawnofSierra 18th May 2004, 03:51 AM :lol3: That's funny, Nancy! How do they do that? They have such a skill for hiding right under our nose! Sonia 18th May 2004, 09:27 AM Oh thank Goodness !!! I am so happy. I sometimes wish we could have a tracking chip on our animals that we can log on to a website and have a little blob flash on a map to tell us where they are within 3 feet ! That way we'd still panic but we'd find the naughty little critters very quickly. I'm so happy that Fluffy is safe and sound. Give Fluffy a snuggle from me :D DawnofSierra 18th May 2004, 10:05 PM I sometimes wish we could have a tracking chip on our animals that we can log on to a website and have a little blob flash on a map to tell us where they are within 3 feet ! That way we'd still panic but we'd find the naughty little critters very quickly. :D Sounds like a pretty good idea to me, Sonia! :) rapunzel47 18th May 2004, 10:08 PM I sometimes wish we could have a tracking chip on our animals that we can log on to a website and have a little blob flash on a map to tell us where they are within 3 feet ! That way we'd still panic but we'd find the naughty little critters very quickly. Now that would be a fine use for GPS technology! And perhaps not all that far away... http://www.aero.org/publications/GPSPRIMER/EvryDyUse.html Sonia 19th May 2004, 02:04 AM Ahh, if only I had the technological know how, and the money to finance the idea, and turn it into a reality...*sigh* don't you just hate it when you know an idea would make your millions, and you can't afford to do anything about it ! Still, at least Fluffy's home, I'm thrilled about that :D bossinova 19th May 2004, 03:11 AM Silly cats. They sure know how to frighten their people! My cat Tank (who's quite ill right now, please say a prayer for him, he's waaay to young to go anywhere!!!! :( ) has been hiding up inside of our boxspring lately. Can you blame the poor guy- everytime I touch him, it seems like I'm squirting antibiotics down his throat, or force feeding him, or giving him subcue fluids! I'd find creative places to hide, too! WellingtonCats 19th May 2004, 03:21 AM Oh I'm so glad to hear that Fluffy is home!! (I missed the thread about him being missing!) but I know how worried you must have been. Hugs! |
