Ive noticed the prices on WB vary wildly how much do you pay for WB in your area? , the wildest thing is now at our local "feed" store they are carrying a multi pet version of WB that is 3.50$ less than the same size in the regular formula. Mind you Im not complaining lol just wondering why the price varies so much.

For the 17lb bag, I pay 16.99 from Petguys.com. I haven't checked the price at Petco (store not website) only because I will not schlep 17lbs of litter on the A Train!

I guess Maine Coons loves WB..maybe they can use all 3 of our guys for a commercial. Though Franz says he can not work due to a disability...narcalepsy, that mysteriously vanishes a meal time...humm, I smell a plot...am I being taken for a ride?

I live close to That Place Place (http://www.thatpetplace.com) and usually buy the 17 lb. bag for $17.99. Not that many stores carry WBCL in my area. I really like it.

I was wondering how users of WBCL dispose of the litter. I've been using it since December 2003, but keep putting it in the garbage. I have a plastic container lined with a grocery bag where I put the waste and keep it until trash day. Everytime I open the container it's a bit stinky. I have considered flushing it down the toilet, but am not completely convinced it will not clog the drains over time (bag says it won't though). I live in an apartment so I don't have the option of adding it to a garden or burying in a backyard. I did read the thread about Petmate's LitterLocker (http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23737&highlight=litterlocker)Plus and many seem pleased with it. Anyway, I'd like to try flushing the litter down the toilet. It seems the easiest and most cost effective way to dispose of the litter.

Also, when I was at World's Best (http://www.worldsbestcatlitter.com/mainContent/rewards.htm) yesterday, I noticed they completely changed their website. They also have a "Rewards Program" where you buy 9 bags of the same size, save the UPC, and get $28 in coupons !!!

I just purchased this litter today. I looked ALL day for it! I finally found it at a local pet store, but paid a hefty $29.99 for a 17 lb. bag. Not like I had a choice, that was the only size they had. However, it was less costly than purchasing via an online pet supply website. So far...so good. Let's hope this is the last litter switch for a long time.

Since I last posted in this thread, I started flushing WBCL down the toilet. I've been doing this since July and have had no problems with clogging. Also a store, PetValu, closer to me now carries WBCL and they even have the 34 lb bag for only $32.00.

I've heard a lot about WB and I was wondering if any of you use it with a litter maid or any other automated litter box cleaner. On the web site it says it can be used with them but when I purchased my litter maid it wasnt on the recommended list of litters.

I've been paying $28 and something cents, plus tax, for a 17 lb. bag of extra strength litter at the pet supply store I usually go to, however last night I discovered that they sell it at Petsmart for $20 and something cents, plus tax  - huge difference! So of course I'll be buying it there from now on.

Oh, and I flush it - the bag claims it's flushable, so I'm trusting them (and so far, so good).

I have just joined the Breeders Program and they will send you starter kits for the kittens for when they go to their new homes. The program is free and you get tons of coupons.

I've heard many good things about this litter, just hope my kitties like it too! :)

I've been using it for a 2 days with my Littermaid and have had no problems. It clumps really fast and it does well with the rake. So far, I love this product. I might have to go back to the pet store and purchase her whole stock. :lol3:
