Hello Everyone, I just though I would say hello and thanks for the help already. I just got my first cat from the humane society about 1.5 weeks ago and I'm already in love. Her name is Frankie, and see is approximately 1-2 years, but shes a small female. She is a calico but mostly white, and has these huge green eyes. I dont know why anyone surrendered her, but I'm glad she with me. :) I attached a picture, its not great b/c its a camera phone and she is a little camera shy. I am a real novice but have been reading a lot the past couple weeks, and this site has proved so benefical. Thanks to everyone.

Welcome to the site Leia! Frankie is just beautiful. Good for you to adopt an older cat, they have a much harder time getting into good homes than the cute kittens. I see she's already proven what a joy an older cat can be. :D
