New kid on the block just wanted to introduce myself.. I am a vet tech and run a no-kill mostly cat shelter from my home.. Do most of the medical myself and specialize in special needs animals requiring high maintainence care. Several have to have bladders and bowels expressed daily. Many have birth defects including Tumbles with no back legs and Olivia who is in a wheelchair. Anyone in need of any advice I may be useful Have been around for 15 years.. know a lot of tricks.

Welcome to the site! Sounds like you provide a much needed service for these animals.
We have a temporary forum which may be of interest to you....Ask Animal Control (http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=33) . Mark may be able to answer any questions you may have concerning your rescue, from an Animal Control Officer's point of view.
