I'm from TX :D I have nine cats, all rescues.. and one poodle. valanhb 18th March 2004, 01:22 AM Welcome to the site! I hope you enjoy your time here. 9Katz1Poodle 18th March 2004, 02:20 AM Thank you ! I absolutely adore animals of all types. I also foster for a dog rescue which i love. I am more into TNR for kitties but would be willing to foster in an emer. situation. Why ? bc I'm pretty much at my max with cats and I have one FIV baby (well he isn't a baby he's 10) I wish I could figure out how to post pictures on here ! They are saying my pics are too big ! 9Katz1Poodle 18th March 2004, 02:28 AM I guess I can introduce my kitties ! I'll post pics later. Milo -- 4.5... orange tabby, rescued from shelter when I was in college... my best friend through alot and still is ! Goldberg -- 4.5 .... Abysinnian mix ... got as a playmate for Milo Oscar --- 3.5 .... GIANT yellow Maine coon mix... rescued from Shelter Simon --- 2.5 ... orange swirly kitty ... found in the woods as a kitten Moe --- 10 ... One eared tuxedo kitty ... FIV ++ but HEALTHy as can be ! 16 lbs... was a stray at an apartment complex we lived at for many years. Now he's a happy neutered indoor boy! Maynard -- 3... tuxedo/mainecoon mix... suspected to be Moe and Bootsy's son... also stray at the apt. complex Bootsy --- 8... Purebred Maine Coon... former feral (still is somewhat feral) showed up at our apartment during a severe flood... pregnant of course. Tried aggressively to trap and spay... finally did after several months and 2 litters later :( Toni -- 2 ... Bootsy's daughter (and probably Moe's daughter) LaShawn -- 2 ... feral and crazy. :) I can't believe when we moved out of that apartment complex we could first of all CATCH him to bring him with us, and second he accustomed to suburban life just fine ! LOL 5 of my kitties were from apartment living. We only lived there for 2 years. I wonder how many others were there that I just didn't get a chance to save  Our new subdivision doesn' thave many strays at all, which makes me very very happy. That's wonderful of you. I'm glad to hear Moe is doing well and sounds so healthy! I live my FeLV positive boy Sash, he's also a big kitty. Post pics when you can! Lisa & Sash http://pages.ivillage.com/lisalee992 (Sash's website) russian_blue_kitten 18th March 2004, 04:46 AM Welcome to TCS! I'd like to say good job and thank you for helping all those cats in need! I look forward to seeing pictures of your fur babies, and learning more about them. 9Katz1Poodle 18th March 2004, 04:52 AM Thanks for the warm welcome ! I just tried to post a picture and can't , says it's too many bites. I'll figure it out later! I do love moe. He has such character. My husband adores him. He does fine with the negative cats and it doesn't worry me one bit bc he isn't a biter (for one thing he's missing most of his teeth!) it's just sort of sad bc I wish I could have gotten to him when he was young, so he didn't have to go thru so much stuff..... We make up biographies for our pets ! :bunny: I can't believe i didn't mention Louie my poodle. He was a former foster of mine who I just couldn't let go. :emba: When he came to us he was 11 pounds, now he's 22... He's actually like a cockapoo. He came out of the shelter on his last day. 9Katz1Poodle 18th March 2004, 04:55 AM Bios and careers. Milo -- plays the tuba in a band Goldberg -- Model and fitness trainer Simon -- drives a Schwann's truck Oscar -- movie producer Toni -- vet Moe -- retired but loves to smoke the lil plants he grows! Maynard -- reverend Bootsy -- "dancer" LaShawn -- construction worker OK, do yall think I'm crazy yet ???????????? :anon: Nebula11 18th March 2004, 07:27 AM I would love to have a large number of cats like you...how is that...are there any major problems?...or do they get along fine? also they are not kidding this site is wicked addictive tulip2454 18th March 2004, 12:30 PM Hello and welcome. They do get along but they would never let another kitty in their 'group'. I have tried and they all attack. There are are "cliques" and cats who don't particularly like eachother but no serious fighting. I thnk the neutering does wonders ! yayi 19th March 2004, 05:27 AM Welcome!:D greycat2 19th March 2004, 08:01 AM Welcome to TCS. :) WellingtonCats 21st March 2004, 02:50 AM Welcome to TCS!
