Has anyone used this product? My dog has to have his nails trimmed monthly and his duclaws tend to curl. I'm not sure if it will work with the curling. Just wanted to hear your thoughts. Thanks. :)

I have heard good and bad things about it.
My sister likes it so I am thinking of getting one.

I have no first or even second hand info, but it looks bad to me. Im thinking it has a very noisy motor...

Where I work we sell pedi paws and they sell like crazy!!. I have not bought one myself but am considering buying one . I have gotten lots of good feedback from people.:)

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I heard both good and bad feedback. My dog is very jumpy so I don't think he would sit still with it being noisy. Hmmm...maybe I'll have to do it the old fashion way. ugh :(

I've trimmed cat's nails since they were 5 weeks old and have no problems in doing so. And even if mine are great about nail clipping, they would not sit still enough to tolerate the PediPaws. It MIGHT work for dogs, but I'd never consider trying it on a cat.

My dad got one, just to see if all the hype was true. I'm in charge of nail trimming around here, and I'm not a big fan.

My 2 Labs don't like it. They're not skittish dogs, and are fine with normal nail clippers. They both pulled away, and didn't seem to like the feeling of the grinder on their nails.

For the cats, it just.. sucks to be honest. Maybe I need the smaller version to try, but it just seems to take forever to do one nail when I could've had the entire paw done! So yeah, I'll be sticking with my normal nail clippers!

They eat batteries like mad! They are pretty much made for dogs that A.) Are willing to sit still for long periods of time and B.) Have soft nails.

My boss bought one to try out. Not only did it get stuck on a wiggly dog's paw [the guard did!] but it barely takes off anything. If the dog is bad for it's feet it's going to be bad whether it's trimmers or not.

You'd be better off taking the tips off your dog's nails once a week. That will help them grow back as well as make sure you don't cut the nail too short.
