Yes, it's true. Two American journalists were caught at customs with Iraqi art and artifacts that had been looted from Saddam's palaces, one a fired Fox News employee, the other was with the Boston Globe. Hubby also told me that some of the artwork from the National Museum has recently been turning up in the US. NONE of the military personnel has been part of this, so that pretty much leaves the press. So much for being impartial observers, huh? :onfire: :onfire: :onfire:

Unfortunately, military personnel aren't all honest. Four US soldiers are under arrest, suspected of trying to steal several hundred thousand dollars, from a cache of US currency that was found in some dog kennels.
The money was part of a several million dollar stash, in an Iraqi official's house. It is believed to be part of a huge withdrawal from a Jordanian bank.
I hope that all thieves will be prosecuted, to the full extent of the law. In the case of these soldiers, if convicted, they've blown their careers.
