:clap: :clap: Finally, a study that shows the benefits of cats, not the usual "dog-focus" that we too often see.
I'm printing it to show my father - he has his wolf-hybrid dog and 3 cats. My mom, a dog-lover, doesn't mind his dog, but is always harping about the cats - 2 of whom he has in his little cabin outside, and the other cat locked up in his den. They come out when she goes to bed at night , hee-hee!!

That's odd, it's working for me.

I've heard before that having a pet reduces your stress therefore cutting down on the risk of heart attack.

Yeah...well...it depends on how the cats get along with each other. If they don't it can really raise your stress level!! :lol3:

No, seriously, that article is great. A loving cat can calm you down. I think a cat is more calming that a dog sometimes and I have both. Again, it depends on the cat.
