In today's New York Times...
Young women are feminizing the Internet.
I hope that they finally blast though the "silicone ceiling."

That doesn't surprise me. I see my students using the Web all the time at school, particularly during the lunch break, and the girls are posting on forums, visiting MySpace, blogging, etc., while the guys tend to watch soccer games and visit YouTube.

It does make sense as the web moves from the technical to the social and content emphasis.
