What the artcle doesnt say is this same guy was last week in another oklahoma town searching for the body of another missing child, whos mother was convicted of killing him. He pointed out 6 areas that all had already been searched with no luck. my guess is he read or saw a news article and used that to give them false hope. My question is, do you believe in this type of crime investigation or should it be left to the "professionals"?

personally i am very skeptical, i think he plays off of the emotions and hope of people who have little or no hope to spare. personally i think if he could be proved to be a fake he should be somehow charged with scamming these people. the article says he dont charge for his service but i would almost bet he would take that reward if he had the chance.

I don't think it could hurt if they try to help :dk:

Psychics have solved many crimes...It's on Court TV (TruTV) all the time:nod: Now I'm not saying this person is legit...who knows.

If it was my family I would pull out all the stops for sure!

I believe true physics are out there - whether this one is or not is anyone's guess.

:yeah: As for whether they should be used in crime investigations, I'd say not the first line of enquiry, but if more conventional means are not successful, it can't hurt -- nothing ventured, nothing gained.

psychics are a scam. they are fun to listen to. But that is about it.

I think there could be some out there. But they are pretty rare. I doubt they are working for the Physic Network or anything like that. The real ones probably try to hide it and just be normal.

Having had a friend go missing and then found murdered, some of her family members did try and see if a psychic (that is on tv in NZ) would help look for her, only to find out there is a 3 year waiting list. :(

I would do anything to find my child and that includes psychics.

I'm trying to think of her name.... Nancy Webber, I think it is? She seems reputable.

Sadly, I doubt they'll find the girl in the article anytime soon. One little canyon looks just like another around here and in rural areas they're often (and illegally) used as trash dumps. In many places no one would think anything unusual if they saw a blanket or plastic from the road. I hope for the family's sake some farmer or hunter comes across the body soon or the guy fesses up. :(
