If you're going to drink and drive, you want to be absolutely sure that your beer is buckled up......but you might want to think about the baby too, ya think?

I swear, I will never, ever say "now I've heard everything" ever again, because every time I do, something even dumber happens!

Something tells me she won't be a candidate for "Mother of the Year" honors. Drinking and driving is bad enough, but to do it with an unrestrained child in the car....unbelievable.

Nice.

Do you think they are going to charge the 19 year old with something? It seems to me that she should have done something like: "Hey, why isn't this child in a safety seat?" or "Perhaps you should take the beer out of the safety seat and put your child in it" or "How about I drive? Let's make sure that everyone is buckled up!"

Wow. That is truly sad. Don't you feel terrible for the baby? I wonder if child services is involved.

More than likely child services has been called in.

The article didn't state which of the 3 were in the child seat. The beer, the 19 yr old or the driver? :D (ps, I'm assuming there wasn't one...)

I fully agree. It would be a waste to hit a bump and have your beer spill over.
