I've just been wondering about Links recently. His fur is getting longer and longer, especially around his paw pads. Do you trim the fur under their paws?

I don't bother unless they get into the litter boxes with damp paws after playing in the bathtub.

Ginger and Ferris both have lots of fluffies on theit feetsies, and I too will ONLY trim it if it gets clumped with litter, otherwise, I leave it alone. :)

I occasionally trim Wickett's but usually only if he gets into something like the others. Of course, once in awhile he'll come out of the potty and shake his paw. It usually when I hear all the litter fly off his paw and hit the walls, floors, furniture, or my face! that I trim them.

No - leave the fur alone :) No need to be cutting it.

Delilah's I leave alone. For Griffin and Bastian, I trim the bottoms of their feet. They like to dig in their litter a lot, and it tends to get stuck in the hair between their pads, so I trim it to try to prevent some of that.

I don't cut mine unless there is a reason to. For example, for awhile I had to be always checking Jake's toes for sores and I kept it clipped.

:yeah: I love Stan's kitty feathers!! I only trimmed them the one time he stepped in the water and then in the clumping litter :rolleyes: He sounded like a dog...click clack click clack...when he started walking funny I had to cut the clumps off.
