My 2 cats used to use the litterbox. Then they found our small garden and used that. Meanwile we covered the garden and the cats are back to the litter box-at least i hope they are.

The smell has not gone away and can be smelled in a room under the garden.

Does anyone know what i can do to get the smell to disappear? SHould i use a deoderizer? bleach? perfume? febreeze??

we are sor of desperate since we have guests arriving today that will be sleeping in the room that smells!!

Are you talking about the smell from the garden where they went or the litterpan?

If its the garden you may have to take a few inches of the surface dirt up and replace it with clean dirt.

so you mean the smell will never go away with time?

I have no clue - but you don't want to be pouring bleach, chemicals, etc. in the dirt. I'd just take out the dirt and replace it.
