General: firm cats of medium size,solid,with strong bones,soft velvety and hot to the touch.
Head: wedge shaped with finely outlined cheeckbones and frontal bones. Noteceable eye-balls. Flat forehead with many vertical wrinklts spreading in horizontal lines above the eyes. Nose of medium length, straight, with scarcely emphasized pass to the forhead. Not long muzzle with a light pinch,slightly rounded.
Whiskers: curly, thick, may be shortly snapped.
Ears: large, wide and high set, slightly tilted forward, wide pened, with rounded tips.
Eyes: of medium size, almond shaped, deep and slant set. All colours are asseptable.
Tape: strong, muscular.
Body: of medium length, compact, muscular, hot, wide croup dpep groin line.
Legs: solid bones, strait forelegs, long, mibile toes, web-footed.
Tail: long, strait,strong and ffexible. Tail tip up to 3 cm may be covered with soft, dense, close lying, slightly curly coat.
Skin: fine, elastic, «excessive», wrinkled on the head.neck.under legs and in the groin.
Young cats-muzzle may be covered with short fine coal slightly lengthened on cheecks and at the ears base: «ear muff». In winter the whole body may be covered with fine coat. Allowance to be made for residual coat on the points: muzzle, ears, legs and tail-in adult cats the residual coat fully disappeared up tu 2 y.o. Male cats haven`t the musk odor.
Kittens may be, born with wavy rex coat «bald spot» on the head Curly whiskers are the required distinctive sing for don sphinx. Very active and goodwill.
Colors: all colors are acceptable.
Faults: short, round or head, small or low set ears round strait set eyes, short, linght, weak body, short or no correctly ending tail, full sunkenness of the body.
Outcross with other breeds: EUR and SIBIRIAN (ONLY)

The standart approved by the experts-felinologists, the members of WCF, from Russia and GUS, at the seminar on the aboriginal breeds of cats of Russia, held in Moscow on December 03-04,1994.
These cats were found de Helen Kovalyva in 1987. She saved the Female ancestor of the breed the blue-cream cat Varya. The chief stud female is Chitta from the cattery «Ìóth» (it means dream).
The owner of the cattery Iren Nemykinahas kept these cats and have grown into breed.
