Ok so I thought Mellow may have fleas, and now I have found them on him...whats the best thing to do, he was de flea's in may so will it be ok to de flea him now? should I get a kind of pill or drop?

He is going to be an indooor cat so will one dosage be good to last him forever?

I use revolution. It kills fleas, ear mites, worms, and ticks.

How long does it last, and do you still need to treat your house?

Talk to your vet. I've got fleas in my house, thanks to my lovely foster kittens. :rolleyes: I used Borax(search for my thread, it was very recent). My vet said to keep up with monthly flea treatments on all animals in my home. It may take a 6+ months to get rid of them that way.

Take your cat to the vet, and ask for a Capstar. It's a pill that works in 30 minutes and kills any and all fleas, eggs, larvae, etc. on your cat and they fall off or you can brush them off. It is wonderful. While your cat is at the vet I suggest using a very powerful flea bomb or multiples if you have a big house. Just call pest control and have it done professionally. You don't want to get your cat back in the house before you have that done. Those fleas are sneaky and good.
