Well, went to Petsmart today, talked with a lady there. They are looking for foster homes, and Mike didn't mind that idea! So I need to know what all is involved in that?

Different organizations can have a different idea of fostering. The most common is that you take in a cat or kitten, play with them, socialize them, and care for them. They usually pay for the medical care, and you should only have to take them to a vet that deals with the organization. The hardest part is having to say goodbye to them:(
