Questions regaurding harness/lesh outside time.

On this thursday/friday its supposed to be unuseally warm for northern Minnesoda. 40/50 degrees. Can I take Bindi out for a short walk in my backyard, He has no flea medication in him now/ but is neutered and trained well for harness./lesh walking. Would fleas be an issue in feb?http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

This summer I plan on walking him and will use frontline on both cats but in feb do I have to worry..

I'm sure it would probably be ok, but I lost my Alley to a tick transmitted disease in December so I am super paranoid now and would probably not let them out at all. Alley did have flea/tick treatments, but it only took one bite..

Thank you, I think my backyard is too tame for ticks but I will keep this in mind, Feb flea issues sounds pritty bazare in northern minnisoda esspeically after 13 below windchill and dry enough air to makle your nose hairs stick. http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing02.gif. I will keep a close watch on him, Thinking about taking Tom to the vet this thursday so might not have time.

Should be fine for about 5/10 mins as long as he's not really sitting in snow. My first cat Mitten used to play in snow - I'd let him out for about 5 mins and when he came in would make sure his feet/legs were dried and check between toes for any snow/ice.

There are no fleas outside in MN right now - only ones that might be around are those inside the house :)

Its gonna be THAT high in St. Paul? We are in southwest MN and its only gonna get about 35 over here :)
