Hello

I just found out about this group the other day from another forum that I am a member of. I hate to admit that I had no idea that there was one just for cats.
I currently own two very beautiful, spoiled cats that I adopted from our local rescue: Ladybug who is about 4 or 5 years old and Jasper who is 8 months. I have been extremely blessed with both of them.

They certainly did not start out as best friends. It took a couple of weeks for Ladybug to get used to him, but after that she started acting as if he was her baby. The only time she did not want anything to do with him was right after he was fixed, and I figure that was because he smelled different.

to TheCatSite! Well, yes, that IS quite an admission, considering there are so many cat lovers in the world! but we're just glad you found us here, and hope you enjoy the forums. Jasper and Ladybug are adorable -- Jasper looks so much like Sishya, and Ladybug bears a strong resemblance to Maryam, so you can see we're a little biased here! THANK YOU for adopting from rescue -- all 9 of us came from "the streets" and our devoted servant wouldn't have it any other way, while there is a single cat out there who's homeless!
