I have three beautiful fur babies, Taffy, a grey tabby who is 6, Geeker, a tortie who is 5, and Winkie, a huge orange guy who is 3. All three of them are rescues. For many years I have worked with a cat rescue, and I always have extra little ones in my foster home. I am fortunate that I have a seperate building for my fosters that is heated, air conditioned, and has a stero that is on all the time. I also have two isolation rooms for the sick babies that come to me. I have had the opportunity to work with a Vet, in clinic and in surgery. Fostering is almost a full time job, last year I had 97 cats and kittens come into my care. Every cat/kitten is tested for feline leukemia, recieves shots, is wormed, treated for fleas and spayed/neutered before it leaves our care, and goes to a home of it's own. Since retiring I have really found my place in the world, just helping all those little ones that have been abandoned or unwanated.

Please SPAY & NEUTER. No more kittens should come into this world until every one that is here now has a home of it's own.

:wavey: Hi welcome to TCS, everyone is right u will fit in here and u are doing such a great thing by fostering and rescueing babies urself :bigthumb: all my cats are rescues except for Bella but I count her as that because well she found me :lol3: and Stormie we found on line but when we got her she was very sick and infeasted with fleas and ear mites and has a bad URI!!! Radar must be kin to my Tarifa, who loves "skywalkin'" on our living room recessed-lighting soffit. I'd post a pic, but I can't as I have dialup and have been unsuccessful in the past. Anyway, just wanted to admire Radar and thank you for championing spay/neuter -- IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO!
