Hi! I am Gussy from Alabama..I am a Mommy to 2 Furbabies, Missy Lou & Sammy Sue. We got Missy from SPCA about 5 years ago. She is a solid white fat cat...She is the queen of the castle & always reminds everyone of it. I inherited Sammy when my brother in law moved earlier this year. THey hate each other & constantly fight.
Missy is a spoiled brat. Just like an only child. She even has a southern belle dress with noop skirt & parasol...You can see a pic & vote for her at the link below!!!

I am caretaker & legal guardian of my sister who is termianlly ill with 5 brain aneurysms. She is 33 with the mentality of a 5 year old. SHe loves Missy & the feeling is very mutual. When she is at the house, she wears Missy around her neck like a scarf...lol... Sammy is very skittish & not as friendly as Missy. We got her because she is partially declawed like Missy is.
Can't wait to meet all of you & get to know ya!

:wavey: Welcome to TCS, Gussy, Missy & Sammy!! I applaud your caring for your sister :salute: :salute:
I have a brain damaged daughter, and some of the others here are also caregivers. TCS is an AWESOME outlet, a wonderful diversion that gives us encouragement, support, friendship and HOPE, that help us continue to help our loved ones. I look foward to reading your posts in the forums, I would like to write more, but I'm 6 min. over my time allotment already - see how addicting TCS is :lol3: :lol3:

Welcome, Gussy, Missy, and Sammy,
to TheCatSite! Hope you'll enjoy it here. I voted for Missy. Maybe you can post some pix of her and Sammy (the Sticky's at the top of the page of posts explains all about how to do it)? We love photos here.
We have cats in common, and also caring for human loved ones with health concerns -- I am my dad's right-hand person, though he doesn't live with me, but I make all the decisions for him and make sure he is well cared for. He's elderly, and has some problems, but we are coping. I think it's really a plus in a way, to be able to help someone out like that. I'm sure you must feel like that about being able to help your sister, too, don't you?
Look forward to seeing you on the site, and hope Missy and Sammy will grow to love one another and not fight!
