I have done the search on here about dandruff but i still have a few questions. My cat is 13lbs (yes a lil over weight but the dr isnt too concerned with it b/c of her frame) She turned 4 this past May and has the type of coat that basically repells water lol. I feed her Nutro for weight/hairballs dry food. She will not touch any wet food at all.

The dandruff is all over back. Everywhere she lays, i see white flakes all over so i've been laying down blankets or it will be everywhere ya know. I have read what to, but it seems to all include using wet food. What do you do for cats that wont touch wet food? I also use the bathing wipes and they seem to help for a day or two but it comes back.

Any help/suggestions is greatly appreicated!!!

Having the same problem with KittenKiya. His coat is so shiny, but darn it, sometimes he looks like a walking snowstorm. I have started giving him fish oil once a day. :heart3:

California Natural dry food contains flaxseed oil, which gave Gizmo an amazing soft coat and eliminated her dandruff.

Right now she's eating Nature's Logic, which if anything has made the coat even softer.

Changing the brand of the cat's dry food is the best solution for the dandruff. I tried the salmon oil on Gizzy and she won't eat it, but happily eats both of the above foods.

Will your cat eat dry food that has some tuna oil in it? Or you can get Linatone in pet shops to put on the dry food. That should help the coat.
