Ferris has poo-poo butt, and he wouldn't let me get ANYWHERE near his behind so I could clean it off. :bawling:

I left a message for my roomie telling him that his SON has a poo-poo butt, and left some wipes for him along with a request that he try to clean up Ferris' behind for me, as I just wasn't able to.

I would hope that Ferris would do it himself, but :nothappy: :cringe: :nausea: :barf: I just can't imagine licking that up - euw!!! :nausea: :nausea:

Funny thing is, I was at home for a good bit of yesterday, and Ferris was a velcro kitty all day, asking for LOTS of scritches and attention from me. What a rare treat THAT was! Of course, his bum was clean YESTERDAY, when I might have had a chance to get to it. SIGH...furkids... :lol3:

If you can spare any vibes that Ferris lets my roomie clean his butt, I'd appreciate it!

I fear that we are going to have to torture him, I mean catch him, wrap him head first in a towel and shave/trim his behind.

Rosies had a couple of cling ons in the past because of her fluffy bum, and the way i got round to getting them off was to distract her by placing a couple of treats down then snipping them off with safety scissors :bigthumb:

Ferris is too careful - keeps his face to me at nearly all times so he can keep an eye on me. I AM the big nasty meowmy that does mean things to him, like take him to the vets, after all.

He trusts me to a point, but not THAT much, LOL. :nono: :lol3:

I actually did try that with the treats this morning, and tried a couple of other ways, but Ferris is too smart for me. :dk: Hence the note to the roomie.

I'm really hoping to find a clean orange bum when I get home - I'm leaving tonight for an overnight to be on time for a 9:30 a.m. morning meeting 175 miles away, and I won't be home until really late Sat night, so if my roomie can't clean him and Ferris doesn't do it himself, it will have to wait until Sunday when I can get my roomie to help me get him wrapped in a towel for his torture, I mean trimming.

I have the same issue with Bob. After taking him to the vet to get cleaned up the 1st time I learned to just pick him up and do it. I make sure I have a long-sleaved shirt or a sweater on, just in case he starts clawing and biting. I use baby wipes for the convenience but have found actual soap and water do a better job.

I WISH I could just pick Ferris up and do it. I'm not scared of getting clawed or bitten, but he is IMPOSSIBLE to "just pick up." He is a master squirmer, and bites when he wants to get down, so there is no way for me to do this for him by myself, nor do I want to break down what little trust he has for me.

If it were Ginger, no problem! But semi-feral Ferris seems to get more of his own way in my house! :lol3: Spoiled rotten, both. :heart3:

Last time Sheba had dingleberries, I didn't know she had them, and had to hold her on my lap to give her medication. I end up with little butt-prints all over my pants.
