Nearly all shelter animals have been abandoned, neglected or abused. Life in the shelter is dismal. They sleep on hard surfaces and all they get is cheap food and water. Many of them are euthanized without having known any kind of happiness and without knowing what it feels like to be loved.

That's where the Santa Claws Project (http://www.santaclaws.org) comes in. We bring toys, treats, comfy beds, premium food and other nice things to shelter cats and dogs. We also spend time with the animals petting them, playing with them and watching them enjoy their special gifts.

The Santa Claws Project (http://www.santaclaws.org) is operated by the Coalition for Animal Justice (http://www.animal-justice.org)-- a 100% All Volunteer, 501 (c) (3) organization. We need donations to continue our work bringing happiness and love into the lives of shelter animals. Donations are tax deductible. Every little bit helps.
