Eye Color: Gold/Green Biography: Taz loves to cuddle with me, and she sleeps up against my ribs at night - she doesn't like other people or animals, though - I guess I didn't socialize her like I should have (I didn't know!). She is a very demanding Top Cat. Her tone of voice lets you know when things aren't up to her standards! She loves to burrow - when I first got her as a tiny kitten, I came into the bedroom to find her wedged between my box spring and mattress. Only her backside was sticking out - she was trying to burrow between the two but was too tiny to force her way in! lol She sleeps burrowed under the covers, and she knows how to nudge the chair seat covers open - she gets in there too. You have to look for lumps in the furniture before you can sit down in my house...she's extremely smart, smart enough to get into tons of trouble.

Arrival Story: Taz was found thrown in a dumpster as a young kitten by the brother of one my (retired) assistant managers at work. He couldn't keep her, and I adopted her. I don't know how old she was, but her eyes were just starting to change color from kitten-blue. She was as wild as could be, and since she was my very first cat, she scared the heck out of me! At the time I also had an elderly German Shepherd. Sadly I had to put my dog to sleep within months of getting Taz, and so I adopted Zazu to keep Taz company. These are my first cats...
Favorite Food & Treats: Lately Taz has been off her food due to health issues, but she still loves her Whiskas Temptations! She also has a fat/sweet tooth - she loves to lick whipped cream, ice cream, various cream soups, and butter off my finger (only tiny amounts!) She crazy for bread, too.
Favorite Toys: Her favorite toy by far is a tassle. She goes nuts for them. She also loves to chase balls of aluminum foil and balled up register paper. Boxes of all kinds, too! |
