Pipsqueak was adopted from a local shelter as a three month old kitten along with his cage mate Potsie (R.I.P 9/28/2006 - 6/22/2010 cardiomyopathy ). They were left in a box on the stairs of the shelter in ten degree temps.

Pipsqueak (n.n.'s: Pip Daddy, PIGsqueak, WeHeart, Squawk) is the smartest cat I have ever owned and he thinks he is the big cheese of our home and controls everything and everyone! Pip has also learned to say "Mama" and it is spoken very clearly. He is a mommy's boy and follows me everywhere. He dislikes it when I have to leave the house and insists before I go that I throw his foil ball. He is always waiting by the door upon my return. Squeak LOVES to eat. All of my cats have had to learn to eat three square meals a day and finish it immediately or lose it. I cannot leave food out or PIGsqueak will eat all day long. This boy rules the household and even keeps my two old jack Russell terriers in line and has taught them not to bark at squirrels. Apparently, the barking is too loud for his taste and he charges them!! He oversees all the kittens playing and is their referee.

Squeak has a huge vocabulary and many different types of meows. He has a habit is sucking/nursing on anything fleece and has done it since a kitten. He will sit on the counters and swat you as you walk by if you didn't acknowledge his presence. He plays fetch with his foil balls and demands this daily. Pipsqueak is my constant companion and watches over me like a hawk. I fear for the person who ever lays a hand on me. The white Tasmania devil will emerge. I LOVE this boy so very much.

Arrival Story:

I had always wanted a Siamese or Siamese mix kitty. That particular freezing day in January I was dropping off some food and cat items to donate at a local shelter as I had just recently lost an older cat to renal failure. I decided to walk into the cat room and there he was in the back room in the last cage down on the right. That was all it took. I also adopted his cagemate, a black kitten, I couldn't leave him behind!!!!!

Favorite Food & Treats:

Loves cheddar cheese, temptation cat treats, ham, Swedish pancakes and kitty greenies.

He has one favorite pink and white tiny stuffed mouse that he carries around. He has had it for four years and we actually lost it for several months once. It was devastating for him and me too! I finally found it in the springs under the couch. I have also searched high and low at all of the pet stores and CANNOT find another toy mouse like it and I can't remember where I got the thing. Have to keep this mouse safe and try desperately not to lose it again. I am always searching for it along with pip with a flashlight. When I go to look under something with the flashlight to relocate that mouse, he always puts his head in the way and I can't see because he has to look first!!!! He also loves those foil balls. There are quite a few lost under things around the house.
