There are literally thousands of cat-related websites offering hundreds of unique gifts for cat lovers. There are so many choices. Here are few that stand out in the crowd.
Distributed by www.catsplay.com comes an entertaining CD- Mewvie- The Motion Picture for Your Cat by KittyMotion. Pop this Mewvie into your machine and step back to watch the reaction.
Enticing sparrow chirpings begin the minute the credits show. By the time your cat runs into the room to locate the source of the sound, the television screen is filled with kitty distractions; sparrows, martens, crickets, degus, squirrels and mice.
Look at it like virtual catnip, for long after the Mewvie is over, the cats stay in high play mode.

From www.wildwhiskers.com comes another unique gift, an outdoor cat enclosure that is portable, lightweight and has many practical applications. Made of sturdy netting, on flexible rods, this enclosure arrives inside of a handy nylon carrying pouch.
Take the enclosure out of the pouch, remove one elastic strap and then drop the enclosure on the ground. You can watch it unfold into its regular shape; 72”x 35”x32”
Two zippered openings allow for easy access for your cat(s). Pegs are included to secure the enclosure to the ground outside.
Although designed as an outdoor enclosure (heavy rains prevented me from testing this aspect out). I placed the enclosure indoors and used this handy product for several applications.
A feeding station for my kittens where the adult cats couldn’t get to the food, but instead ate in the same room close by.
A hospital room for a recently spayed feral cat. The enclosure is large enough to hold two litter pans, food and water, and with the see-through netting, the cat is easy to observe. A time-out spot for a cat that wanted to tussle with another cat.
This enclosure would be a unique gift for show people. Cat Fanciers could set this enclosure up in their hotel room, allowing their cat(s) the luxury of moving about in a large space and not worry about the cat bolting out the door. It would serve a cat-owner well as a place to put a new cat (that has been vet-checked) during the introduction stage with another resident cat. The enclosure would be a handy place to put a cat that has recently moved with his owner to a new home.
From the same company comes another idea; this one, an inside fun house. Since setting this fun house up in our front room, our cats have been leaping in and out of it, chasing each other around it. The funhouse is a great cave for kitties. Made of lightweight material with zippered openings and a padded floor, it collapses easily, stored in a handy, carrying pouch.
