Maizie just needs to be able to get acclimated to her new home, a new caretaker, and other cats. I would suggest you devise an introduction plan using these TCS articles. Given Dottie's relatively calm reaction, it is just a matter of giving Maizie a safe space to get used to first.
How To...
Is there a summary, prologue, or something you could share that would give folks a bit of a clue about what all is in the book? I am sure there are folks who may feel they might be 'ready' to read such a book, and would benefit from knowing a bit more about it.
How long have you had each of these cats? Did you ever go through any kind of introduction process with them? Are these indoor/outdoor cats? Much harder to deal with if they go outside because one or the other can always avoid the situation by going/staying outside.
Hi. I am not sure if there is any real redeeming value to giving a cat organize beets and carrots, or tumeric for that matter. I think the key is io use any treat in moderation, so if you are only using them in the true nature of a 'topper', I doubt there is any issue with giving them daily...
Get the hyper-T ruled out, but I am not sure that it is all that common to have howling with no other more common symptoms. The most common symptom of hyper-T is weight loss and next in line is ravenous appetite. My cat only had weight loss and no other symptoms.
The next thing to check for is...
Hi. I think you just have to let him hide. There are many cats that are scared of rain and thunder. It may not even have to do with anything that happened to Binx in his past. I don't think any of my cats liked thunder, fireworks, or any 'off' noises. Feeby, when she was younger always hid...
Hi. Short of trying to stand her up and see what she does, I have no idea. It won't likely change her behavior with doing it just a few times, but she might 'get it' if you do it repeatedly. Does she hold a more typical position when she poops?
It probably isn't a big deal and may never be...
There is absolutely no consolation when one our babies passes. But I hope you can find some comfort in knowing Willow died the way she lived - as she saw fit, on her own terms, knowing that you'd expect no less from her. RIP little Willow.
Hi. As awful (to me) as this sounds, here are some previous TCS threads about using lime sulfur dips. Maybe they can help you.

I'd try the elevated bowls, as suggested above. No reason not to add an extra large mat underneath that would make for easier clean up too. If your friend id willing to try this, please let us know what happens.
Hi. That could be just about anything, including rubbing against something and causing some irritation. Does s/he scratch at it, or is s/he bothered if you touch it? Does s/he go outside or have things s/he could use as a chin scratcher in the home? Maybe an allergic reaction to a food change...
Your cat will be fine. Heck, my first cat used to eat popcorn with me (sans kernels). Not saying it was a great idea, but it was never an issue. There are all kinds of food when eaten in moderation are not necessarily going to pose an issue. Another one of my cats wanted pieces of potato chips...
Hi. How long has she been back in your care now? Just curious if we are talking weeks/months/years since her two year stay with a family member. The timeline may be important to how she is reacting now.
If you truly think her reaction to feet is due to some sort of abuse, such as being kicked...
Hi. Sorry no one has responded to your post yet. Maybe while you wait for others to come along, you can find some information in these previous posts?

Hi and welcome to TCS. Based on what you've told us, it sounds like most of the anxiety related incidents have dissipated, and now you are faced with inappropriate peeing first thing in the morning. If it is always in the same general area, it could be that her scent is still there from peeing...
Hi. Admittedly you are the one looking at her, but from the pics, it doesn't seem to be coming directly out of her nostril, but rather right beside her nose. Although, it does look to be directly under her nose on the other side, and that does look like mucous. The fact that this showed up in...
Oh my! With tear-filled eyes, I can barely see to type this - 'you done Ruby proud' with your wonderful, loving tribute to her, just as you did in all the days you took care of her. I can just envision in my head that she is telling you 'Mama you may not be able to see or touch me now, but...
